A. & P. ASSOCIATION. MEETING OF EXEUUTIVE. A meeting of the Executive fommittoe of the above Association was held on Thursday evening, Mr. E. Jackson, the president, being in the cbair. The resignation of Mr. 11. T. Twii-s was received with regret, the chairman eulogising the resigning member's services. It was decided to place on record the committee's appreciation _ of Mr Twiss' services to the Association, and for allowing his name to lie retained on the list of guarantors. The secretary of the Gun Club (Mr. Hunter) wrote" with reference to Mr. Huggett's complaint as to the effect of the" club using the showgrounds for shooting, and stating that Mr. Huggett had no reasonable ground for complaint. Mr. Hunter waited on the committee and stated that he had never heard of anv complaint. The difficulty in using the locality assigned by the Association was that ihe numbers had to fire with the sun in their eyes. It was decided, on the motion of Mr. Ivirkwood, that a committee consisting of the president and Mr. Kellelier he appointed to confer with Mr. Hunter and Mr. Huggett to ascertain the letter's wishes, and with power to act in arriving at an arrangement satisfactory to all parties.
