A PRINCESS IN PERIL.
NARROW ESCAPE FROM DROWNING. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Received 28, 11.30 p.m. Ottawa.. July 28. The Duke of Connaught's daughter, Princess Patricia, narrowly escaped drowning. She was a member of a motorboat party at the Lake of the Woods, and the boat struck floating logs, which stove in the bottom, and she began to sink. Passing motor-boats rescued the party just as the boat "ros sinking.
