OVERSEAS CLUB.
NEW ZEALAND CONFERENCE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Yesterday. The annual meeting of delegates of the Overseas Cub in New Zealand was held to-day. An address was given by Mr. Myers, M.P., who said he realised more fully than ever the necessity for the development of an Imperial consciousness. The Overseas Club 'was doing n great deal to develop that consciousness. Reference was made by one of the speakers to the small attendance, and to the inexplicable apathy in New Zealand when compared with the interest taken in other countries. The following oll'icers were elected:--Patron. The Governor; president. Mr. J. G. Luke, Mayor of Wellington; vice-presi-dents, Mr. A. M. Myers and Mr. H. Hol'and, Mayor of Clinstehurcb!; seel"' tary and treasurer. Mr. J. K. Mylie.
