During the Armidale match, O'Brien, the New Zealand full-back, had a small bone of his leg hroken while tackling and was removed to the hospital. THE LEAGUE GAME. GOAL-KICKING COMPETITION. The goal-kicking competition at El[tham, for a gold medal presented by | the Taranaki League Executive, was won easily by Guerin, of the British team. The competitions were: Guerin and Romans for the British team, and Malone ' and Hooker for the Taranaki team. Mr. Clifford, manager of the British team, presented a football to the Eltham schoolboys, who were present 'by invitation.
KASPER CUP COMPETITION. At Rahotu to-morrow Pihama and Rahotu will meet to decide the championship in the Kasper Cup competition. [At the conclusion of the third round, both teams are level. The two teamshave already met on three occasions, and each has a win, a loss and a draw to its credit, This match is, therefore, attiacting considerable interest along the coast, and is certain to le witnessed ■ by a large gathering. WAIMATE v. SOUTH TARANAKI.
