The Admiralty has decided to 'extend the commissions of vessels of the first and second fleets from two to three years, thereby increasing the higher fighting, efficiency. Vice-Admiral S ; r John R. Jellicoe. second Sen Lord, has been appointed to command the Home Fleet. Vice-Adniiral Sir F. T. Hamilton succeeds him as Second Sea Lord.
