XEW .FREEZING COMPANY. The Oroua and West Coast Meat and Produce Co., a new farmers' freezing company to serve the bedding district, was registered on Monday. The company has a nominal capital of .'J 150,(100, and' .CIOO.OOO is .being called up. The sum required for registration has been over-subscribed. The works are to be erected on the banks of the Oroua river, .at Aorangi, on the outskirts of l'Yildinir, and will have a. capacity for 2000 sheep ,i)cr day. The district from which stock will be drawn includes the Oroua, Manawatu, Kiwitea ami liangitikci counties. The proposal is being sunported with gnat enthusiasm be the fanners, who anticipate'making a considerable saving in railway freights and in the cost of rumurcs by having their own works close to their farms.
