NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP. The following are the results of the first round of the ladies' championship competition:— SENIORS. Miss Rundle defeated Miss Blundcll (3 up and'l). Miss Bcwlc.y defeated Miss MoKellar (7 up and 5). 'Miss Read defeated .Miss Ryan (2 up and 1). Mrs. Johns defeated Mrs. Button (3 up and 4). Miss Brewster won from Mrs. Penn (by default). Miss Stephenson defeated Mrs. Glenn {5 up and 4). Mrs. Paton defeated Mrs. Whetter (5 up and 4). Mrs. Arnold Jones defeated Mrs. Weston (1 up). JUNIORS. Miss Foote defeated Miss T. Roy (!) up and 7). .Miss Kolm defeated Mrs.' McQuado (4 up and 3). ■Miss Reed defeated Miss Bradbury (8 up and 7). WITIORA CLUB. To-day a men's medal handicap will he played on the Witiora Club's links (post entries). Members are requested to he on the links at 1 p.m. sharp.
