Denmark is shipping a'botit 4000 casks move than the same time last year. ■French—Supplies continue light and prices relatively dead. Siberian.—Present arrivals continue to show good quality and arc excellent
value. Irish.—The market is firm with m- | creasing supplies. Australian—The demand is rather quiet, and, as very little of tin- arrivals are choice quality, buyers are not very interested. Quotations are fully maintained. New Zealand. -There is very little arriving and quotations are firm. Colonial arrivals this week are: s.s. Orontes (London) 0000 boxes butter. Australia; s.s. Athenie (London) 2'tW) boxes 'butter, New Zealand: s.s. Surrey (Avonmoutli) 1525 boxes butter. NewZealand: s.s. Athonic (London) 22,i)50 crates of cheese, New Zealand: s.s. Surrey (Avonmoutli) GSSO crates of cheese, New Zealand. CHKKSK New Zealand—Owing to the big shortage in Canadian make, tins market has considerably improved during the week, as the total supplies are far short of what was anticipated. I'l'ieos have improved Is to 2s on the week. Canadian.--The May make was very disappointing in quality owing to the eold weather. Prices are fully maintained, but a little more offering at the close.
