Savory knocked out HavUl '(Timaru) in the first round; Iggielden fWairarapa) beat W. Green ■ (Manawatu) on points. Middle-weight—W. Dickson (Taumam- ~ nui) beat'H. Morton (Hawke's Bay), after a slashing contest, on points; A. ; Wood (Spnthland) beat B, Finnic (Wellington) on points. Feather-weights—J. Newsome (Tail- . marunui) beat C. Chisnall (Christchurch) on points; A. Goodman (Otago) beat Benson (Gishome) on points, after a hard contest. Bantam—A. C. Venns (Wanganui) beat Gilchrist (Auckland)'; H. Gunn (Timani) beat Andrews (Wellington) on a foul in the last round. I Light-weight—W. Brown (Hawke-V 'Bay) v. Geo. Thomas (Wanganui).
