GISBORNE JEWEL ROBBERY.
A THIRD ARREST. By Telegraph—Press Association fiisbomc, I-ast Night. As a further sequel to the burglaryat Grieves' jewellery shop on the .night of .Tune 13, when some £'100(1 worth of jewellery was stolen, a man was today arrested aboard I the s.s. Victoria in the Clisborne roadstead by Detective? McLeod, and will be charged with .breaking and entering. Two men are alrea.dy awaiting trial on a charge of breaking and entering, and sentence for receiving stolen property in connection with tile robbery, and the police believe that today's arrest completes the apprehension of the gang. Tluv are understood to be hopeful now of discovering the bulk of the missing valuables. The man arrested to-day was a passenger from Tokomaru Bay bv the Victoria.
