Raravva, from North, Tuesday. Eric, schooner, loft Puget Sound July 18. (Due end of September). SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. SAILED. Wellington, Tuesday—Arrived, at 5.45 a.m., Kaitoa, from New Plymouth. Auckland, Tuesday.—Arrived, at 2,10 p.m., Waimana, from London.

SAILED. Auckland, Tuesday.—Sailed, nt 1.30 p.m., Samoa, for Samoa. LUMBER FROM AMERICA. Messrs Spedding and Co. hare received advice that the schooner Erio sailed from Puget Sound on the 18th inst, for New Plymouth direct with about I,ooo#oo feet of timber, including Oregon pine, lathes, shingles, etc. Her journey is expected to occupy about two months,, and is therefore due towards the end of September. THE RAR^. 5 _ - rtaiawa brought 100 tons of cargo from Onehunga yesterday morning, including 17 tons of uour, 13 tons of sugar, 10 tons of cement, and 1368 ft of timber.

THE CORINNA. The Corinna is due this morning from Lyttelton with 550 tons of general cargo. After discharging she will sail for Nelson, Picton and Onehunga. arriving back here again on Tuesday to load any cargo offering for nonth. THE MAPOURIKA. The Mapourika is scheduled to leave ■Wellington at 5 p.m. tn-day for New Plymouth and is due to-morrow. THE PUKAKT. The Pukaki is takiiig up the running of the Taviuni, owing to the latter's detention on the West Coast. The Pukaki will leave Dunedin at noon on Friday for New Plymouth, via tlie usual ports. THE NGATORO. The Ngatoro is due from Groymouth to-morrow with 450 tons of coal for tlie Railway Department.

THE PETONE. The Petone is expected to arrive from Dunedin on Friday with 300,000 feet of timber. FACILITIES FOR PASSENGERS. Passengers booking by steamer between Wellington and Lyttelton can obtain from the local office of the Union S.S. Co. railway tickets covering the journey from New Plymouth to the following stations in the South Island:— Christchurch, Ashburton, Timaru, Oamaru, Dunejpn, Gfcfre, Balclutha and Invercargill.
