AX ADULTERY PETITION. H,. Cable—Press Association—Copyright Received 17, 9 p.m. Sydney, July 17. Ada Norton, wife of John Norton, newspaper proprietor, has lodged a petion for divorce, alleging adultery with a woman named Pannett. At the preliminary hearing of the case Mrs. .Norton sectored an order of the Court for the interim custody of the seven-yeat-old daughter of the marriage, who, according to applicant's affidavit, had, with her governess, disappetued, the alleged object of the disappearance being to remove the child from tne jurisdiction of the Court.
