His W'or.-bip the Mavor (Mr. J. K. Wilson) reliinicd to New Plymouth yesterday, quite restored to health.' Mr. .1. H. Conned, chairman of the New Plymouth Harbor Board, was absent from yesterday's meeting of the. lizard owing to indisposition. By yesterday morning's express train Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Gillies left Hawca for the South Island, where they will spend some weeks prior to leaving for a trip to the Old Country.
