Simon Pianetti, a miller at Brsmbana, fatally shot eight persons, including the doctor, the town cleric, the clerk's daughter, the priest, the priest's bedriddea mother, the shoemaker, and finally ni* own brother, who was Working in the fields and tried to disarm him. When the running amuck commence!, the townsfolk barricaded themselves in their houses. Pianetti held up the town for 3'/ 2 hours and finally escaped. Pianetti was a w. 11-known blackmailer and recently compelled his father To give hint £S»)!> at the point of a revolver. The murderg were due to the desire in revenge himself for recent financial r«versei.
