WIIAT SIR EDWARD CARSON WILL

London, July 13. A procession of fifty thousand, headed by Sir E. Carson, marched to Druinberg. The streets were lined with spectators. Tile processionists received tremendous ovations. The military weie confined to barracks.

Sir E. Carson, in an address, said tnat Provisional Government gave him power to exercise the Government's authority to prevent Home Rule being placed on the Statute Book. He would exercise that power with the grimmest determination. He would give Mr. Asquith the alternative to gr:mt complete exclusion or come and fight them. If the Government did not give tiem justice Ulster would take it.

ORANGEMEN'S RESOLUTIONS.

> Received 14, 11.40 p.m. [i London, July 14. i Seventy thousand attended a meeting at Drumbeg, Enniskillen, where Lord Londonderry said the Lords would stick to their amendments at all costs. Thirty thousand at Newtonords, twenty thousand at Moira, and ten thousand at Temple Patrick passed resolutions at all meetings pledging Orangement to risk all in defence of civil and religious liberties, and calling on the leaders to take the necessary forward steps to oppose Home Rule.

A SYDNEY CONTRIBUTION. Sydney, July 14. At the continuation of the Orange celebrations, the meeting despatched a congratulatory cablegram to Sir E. Carson, and a further donation of £SOO to the Ulster funds was announced.

London, July 13.

In the House of Lords on the report stage of the Amending Bill, Lord McDonnell's amendment- providing for proportional representation was adopted.
