A minority of shareholders in tile New York-XewhaTen-Hurt ford Railway is suing Messrs. William Rockefeller, .1. P. Morgan, Lewis Ledyard and other directors claiming the sum of £25.000,000 on the ground of mismanagement of the railway's affairs. The Interstate Commerce Commission recently examined the company's affairs and reported that tiie directors were criminally negligent and violated the law frequently, purchasing rolling stock at a price three times excaoding its value, lictitious stock sales, the expenditure of huge sums for the I purpose of influencing public opinion I through ntwspapu' bribery and illicit political activity, including the bribery of legislators, and the profligate use of free passes.
