FOG IN AUCKLAND HARBOR.
COASTAL SHIPPING DELAYED. By Telegrapu—Press Association. Auckland, Friday. Since an early hour this morning, a heavy fog has enveloped the harbor and the gulf. Old captains assert that ■ever before in their experience has the fog lasted so long. Coastal shipping is delayed and the sailings of several steamers have been postponed. The ferry steamer Condor was stranded near St. Hellier's Bay this morning, and was. floated with the rising tide. To-nig'.it tine small steamer Minerva is reported ashore in the gulf, but the report is not confirmed. The barque John Craig, from Newcastle, has evidently anchored in the gulf. The ferry captains are having an anxious time, but are guided by the sirens and the fog-horns, which are at present going continually at various points.
