Judging bv the successful sale held by Mr. R. J. Linn at Normality on Friday last, and the high prices' obtained for grade Jersey cattle, the old favorite is still held as great a friend to the small dairy farmer as ever. With the advent of closer and more scientific faming it must bo apparent to all dairymen that it pays to breed from pedigree cattle, and in this connection d»e draw special attention to Mr. Phillips.' sale, where the vendor, as is well known, has always been very careful with his sires. The cows have some great dairy blood running through them, being all connected - with the clebratrd '■K.0.8.," •-■Magnet's Boy." and "Doctor' | .strains.
