THE NEW SYSTEM. With reference to the proposed reorganisation in the scheme of training in Taranaki, as published yesterday. Captain Stevens stated yesterday that he liad since received from headquarters a telegram to the ell'ect that squadron and company camps for country districts will not be compulsorily put into force this year, but they are to be encouraged wherever Uioy can be locally arranged. Rations, forage and eost "of transport to and from concentration camps will be provided by the Government for the purpose. Training, the message continues, should 'be resumed immediately on these Hues. With regard to the cadets, the message states that cadet concentration camps will not take place (lining this military year, and that training should he at once resumed on existing conditions.
