THE SUEZ CANAL
| DEEPER TBBSELS ADMITTED. By Cable—Prew Association—Copyright Received 10, 10.40 p.m. Paris, July 19. The Sue* Canal Company has decided, as from January 1, to raise the maximum draft of vessels passing througli the canal to thirty feet. Without this, the N.D.L. line of German steamships would have to modify the plans of their descent on Australian and New Zealand trade.
