Bates' •weather summary for the last 24 koura.— Wet and gloomy weather has been esenenoed generally, wiUi northerly winds •trong to gale. The barometer lias fallen low in the south. Forecast.—Present indications are for nigh northerly winds, changing by west to south in about 24 hours, the barometer falling further.in the meantime. Eipect skies dull to overcast, and rain generally, heavy on the West Coast and southern districts, with snow following on the higher levels, and heavy seas on all the western toasts.
