TALLOW SALES.

-VIK NEWTON KINO'S RUPOIiT. On Tuesday, 30th June, I held my four-weekly sale, of above produce, the catalogue comprising !) bales and 3(i sacks wool, 027 hides, 125 calfskins. 1750 sheepskins, 7 casks, and 60 tins tallow, and the usual assortment of horns, hair, bones, tails, etc. There was a good at tendance of buyers and competition was very spirited throughout.

, Wool.—Small offering. Finn at late rates.

Sheepskins.—These" .met with spirited competition, and showed an advance of y 4 d to %d all round.

Hides. —Light hides were at par. Heavy hardly maintaining late rates. Farmers' light advanced Vsd to y;d per lb.

Tallow.—This again showed a decline of 10s per ton, owing to oversea reports being unfavorable. Calfskins—Advanced to l%d per lb. W. M. BAYLY AND CO'S REPORT. On Tuesday, 30th June, we held our monthly sale of the above produce, our catalogue comprising a fair quantity of wool, hid'es, tallow and sheepskins. There was a good attendance of buyers and competition was keen. We i|uote: Wool.— Fleece B'/»d, lambs S'/.d, crutchings in bags B%d. Sheepskins.—Butchers' %-wools damp 4s 2d each, %-wools damp ss, salted '/•>- wools 5s 3d, settlers' full-wools 7'/ ; d per lb, Vl>-wools 7%d per lb.
