RECORD PRICES FOR STUB ANIMALS fly Cable—Press Associatii"—Voi>. right Sydney, July 7. At the stud sheep sales a record price for Lincoln ewes was made, 210 guineas. Others sold to 33 guineas, and batches averaged from 2y s to 5 guineas; stud rams brought to 58 guineas; batches averaged £2 16s to £l7 '2s'. In merinos, a Havila'h ram fetched 520 guineas, another 350 guineas, and others 10 guineas to 280 guineas. Four Nardry special stud rams averaged guineas, the top price being 400 guineas, and +.ne others ranging from 40 to 150 guineas. One Deniliquin ram fetched 300 guineas, and other merinos 3 guineas to 31 guineas. A draft of Romney Marsh sheep on account of Mr. J. A. Murdock (New Zealand) were offered, and 10 ram hoggets fetched 35 guinsas to 70 guineas. Douthwaite's ninety-one Border Leicester ram lambs averaged £3 lis 2d, John Nixon's thirty-one hoggets brought £3 lfe lOd. and Murd<r;k's fourteen hoggets £2B 4s.
