A THIRD POLITICAL PARTY. GENERAL BOTHA'S CAPITALISTIC TENDENCIES.

General Hertzog 'has. launched a sopartist party opposing the Government. General Hertzog, in a speech at tlio inauguration of the new National Party, strongly condemned General Botha's Imperial views, tiic ultimate outcome of which would he to place South Africa on the basis of a Crown colony. General Botha's was a hybrid party in nowise differing from the Unionists. In sueh matters as the land tax and the exemption of the Premier diamond mine from income tax General Botha acted under capitalists' dictation.
