Sister Areandt, a policewoman, of Stuttgart, addressing the Women's Freedom League, said that as the result of advertisements she liad discovered an organised traffic in children for immoral and other purposes. »A man had offered to provide three thousand of every nationality. Hundreds of Russian children were maimed for the purpose of hiring out as beggars' assistants. 1
