Tlie steamer August, which 'has arrived at Newcastle from Valparaiso, reports that on June 6 she sighted the fourmaster schooner Elejaraiso, of San Franeieeo, a derelict. As the derelict was in the track of Australian-hound vessels, the eaptain set the derelict afire, and destroyed it.
