A South-Eastern railway train, crowded with city men, collided with a Hastings express between London Bridge and jpannon Street. One carriage overturned, frilling a youth and slightly injuring twenty persons.

Harman, the driver of the Hastings train, admits that he mistook the signals. He thought he was on another line and followed another driver's signals.
