VICTIMISATION.
ALLEGATION'S AGAINST EMPLOYERS. Fer Tress Association. Wellington, Friday. At the hearing of the woollen mills employees' dispute to-day, Mr. Kennedy, the men's representative, said the men did not look upon the Dnnedin negotiations with favor. Employees down there were being sacked for being- identified with the dispute. They had information that several men who had attended a meeting at Milton had all received the sack, and that the same thing had happened at Ashourton. Mr. Grenfell, the employers' representative, said that because one or two small mills did this it was not fair to assume that the same was the policy of the whole Association. Tt was ultimately decided to adjourn the proceedings until the local emplovers receive definite advice from the executive, of the Mill Owners' Association regarding; a Dominion award.
