TARANAKI PLUMPTON CLUB. At a meeting of the Tantnaki Plumpton Courting Club on Thursday evening it was reported that the entries received for the open maiden stnke of £35 and a sflver cup valued £7 7s were very satisfactory. The tares were said to •be in excellent condition, and some exctllent coursing is therefore likely to result on Wednesday • anu Thursday next, wncu tho stake will be decided; In addition to the open maiden stake, the local maiden stake, which wan commenced some weeks ago, will be finished, and a supplementary slake will also be run. Entn.ts finally ifllose to-day, and acceptances on Tuesday at 8 o'clock.
