Mr Donald E. Mackay, L.L.8., of Waitara, has been admitted' as a barrister of the Supreme Court of New Zealand.

Mr and Mrs H. Sanders, of 'New Ply- ' mouth, and foi many years well-known residents of Stratford, sailed from Wellington yesterday by tlu Ulimaroa, en route to South Africa. At the installation ceremony of the De Burgh Adams Lodge on Thursday evening Deputy-Prov. Grand Master A. Goldwater and Wor. Bro. R. O. Ellis were each presented with Masonic jewels in recognition of their valued services to the lodge.
