INJURED ON A WHARF. By Tel-graph—Press Association. Timaru, Last Night. Archibald Campbell, a tally clerk, was seriously hurt tin-is morning. A fourton lift was being landed over the steamer Waiwera, and when over the track the span on the top guy of the derrick broke, and let the weight fall. It. smashed the truck over on to the truck on the next line. Campbell was between the two trucks,, and was caught, and had several ribs broken.
FOUND DEAD IN BED.
Dunedin, Last Night. David Darling, formerly employed by the Union Company als a clerk, was found dead in bed at his boardingho-uso this morning. He was subject to fits. He felt unwell last evening, and was heard moaning during the night. A fefllow-lodger visited him, but he seemed all right. Soma hours later fce was found dead. "'>'
