Her condition was better since being deprived of the noxious drugs surreptitiously supplied to her l>y her friends. Heplying to a suggestion that militants ought to be shadowed continuously by detectives, Mr. McKenna feared *hat this would ta impracticable. 11l consequence of the suffragette outrages, colonial visitors will be compelled to wait a month for a view of the Art Gallery, and will be admitted under the strict surveillance of guides, with the empty galleries filled with police attendants.
