Times and Sydney Sun Services. Received 24, 0 p.m. Berlin, June 24. General Vondeimling, commander at Strasburg, has inhibited the men from being rewarded with beer, and advises tbe officers to take them for excursions to battlefields and to entertain them with coffee and milk.

CHARGE OF FRAUD. Received 24, 8.15 p.m. Sydney, June 24. William Bellot lias been ordered to be extradited to Auckland to answer a charge of obtaining £36o.by means of a valueless cheque from George Court on October 19. The defendant when arrested on the Tofua gave.the name of Doyle.

WRECKED ON A REEF. Sydney, June 24. The captain and officers of the steamer Epi, which 'was recently totally wrecked on the New Caledonian coast, on the maiden voyage of the vessel from Sydney, have arrived. The Epi was carried on to a reef by the tide. After the wreck the crew in two boats were eight days knocking about on a rough sea before they reached Pott Island in an exhausted condition.
