A jftehistorie account of the deluge has been found by Dr. Langdon amongst the Babylonian tablets disinterred at Nippu*. It is believed to be the original oi that preserved .in Genesis. The same tablet also contains reference to the fall oi man, the first reference to the iall found in Babylonian literature.
