At a meeting of the 'Scottish Society on Tuesday evening, the secretary (Mr J. B. Campbell) road a rough balance sheet of the social, showing a surplus of over £2O, tihere being still some amounts to come in. To the ladies and all who assisted a hearty vote of thanks was given, a vote being accorded to the secretary. A social is to be held on July 9, when a very pleasant evening is anticipated. Your, photograph will please them all —some of your friends have been expecting one for a long time—don't be satisfied with one taken years ago.
