Several postal packages, addressed to local merchants, have been seized at Londonderry. They contained firearms. Sir Edward Carson, in a speech at Bolton, Baid that the Government was about to make another shot to settle the Irish question. He hoped it would be successful, but if it merely repeated the same old offer to him, he would have nothing to do with it.
