t By Cable —Press Association —Copyright Received 22, 11.15 p.m. St. Petersburg, June 22. • "The Novoe Vremya describes Great Britain's agreement with the Anglo-Per-«ian-Oil Co. as a breach in letter and spirit of the Anglo-Russian Convention causing serious danger to Russia, inasmuch as the scope of the agreement extends far into the northern sphere of influence. Apropos the Persian oil affair and the British naval visit to Cronstadt, .the journal declares that whenever England displays specially warm feelings towards Russia, it is the duty to look for eome "spetial rascality."

Received 22, 11.15 p.m. Bombay, June 22. The Sind -Gazette say s "that as the re. suit of the Turco-Persian Frontier Commission, Easirisharin and the Anglo-Per-sian Company's oilfields at Chiasurkh are now Turkish territory. The newspaper points out that if Easirisharin is Turkish territory, one of the company's two, proved oil wells is possibly not in gift. The British Admiralty's Snngement is not vitally affected, for while Kasirisharin is 390 miles inland, the springs the Admiralty propose to utilise are situated at Maidaninaphtun, near Shuster.
