SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Wellington, Last Night. The following is Mr. Pemberton's weather summary for the past 24 hours: — . High southerly wind prevailed on Sat- ■ urday, with cold, squally and showery - weather. Conditions moderated generally on Sunday, and fair weather has predominated since. The atmospheric pressure has increased everywhere. . Forecast. —Present indications are for moderate to strong southerly winds, changing to westerly northward of New Plymouth and Castlepoint, and freshening westerlies southward. Pair weather is probable generally, but will become unsettled in the western and southern districts soon and increasing haze and cloudiness following elsewhere.
