THE AUSTRALIANS' SUCCESKS.

Harrison was first, and Ryan third in the Glasgow Faculty's prize. Halliday •tied for tile Association Cup at 1500 yds. Cross won the Strathcona Shield for ■rapid firing at 200 and 500 yds. Martin .won the competition for rapid firing at; 200 yds and the championship. Harrisori tied with Somers, who was captain of the British team to Australia, but lost in the shoot-off. The Australians net•ted £IOO, besides medals and cups.

TRIANGULAR 'MATCH.

A triangular match took place on Saturday on the Rewa Itewa range between teams from D Company, Eltham, and A Company New Plymouth Territorials and the New Plymouth- Rifle Club. Tito weafflier conditions were fairly good, the rain holding off well, but there was

a strong wind blowing, and at times the light was bad. The A Company and Ilifle Club, unfortunately, were unable to minster full team?, and had to repeat their lowest scores. The shooting on the wlwle was fairly good. A Company won by 4-3 points'. The following were the scores: —
