NO CHANGE ON THIS TOAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Saturday. In connection with the Sydney cable ■regarding freights, the increase mentioned applies to all routes to and from •New Zealand and follows on Mr. Justice Higgins' recent award in connection with the Australian waterside workers, Jt should be understood that the increase only affects intercolonial trade. New Zealand coastal rates remain as before. It might also be mentioned that while the trading (between Australian ports have increased fares ten per cent, and freight rates at least Is per ton, •in addition to abolishing certain concessions previously existing, the companies trading between New Zealand and Australia have added but live per cent, and one shipping per ton respectively.
