A CLERGYMAN MISSING.

A MYSTERIOUS AFFAIR. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The mysterious disappearance of an Anglican clergyman, the Rev. E. L. Woodhouse, of St. Mary's, Mornington, Dunedin, ia reported. He had been staying for a few days with Mr. J. C. Anderson, of Stirling, and left at 2.30 p.m. yesterday to walk to Balclutha, saying he would return by the Ave o'clock train. He was seen at three o'clock midway between Stirling and Balclutha, and that was the last seen of him. The theory of the disappearance is that he fell into the river while crossing the railway bridge. He was about 37 years of age, unmarried, and greatly beloved by the congregations among whom he had served.
