j _At tlie annual meeting on Tuesdav : night, a committee, of tifteen was appointed to draft a scale of salaries for i submission to a general meeting fm 'Wednesday evening. After considerable discussion, the schedule was adopted bv the Managers' Association, and a deputation, consisting of Messrs W. C J)i\on ■I. U. Sinclair (Auckland). 0. Cooper (Taranaki), M. T. Weal, T. C. 'lrving (YWiirarapa), was appointed to interview the National Dairy Association.
On Thursday morning, the deputation met the executive of the National Dairv
-i- ociation, and, after some discussion, the question was again deferred for final consideration as above. PURITY OF Till;; MILK.
On Wednesday night, a resolution was carried heartily approving of the scheme brought forward by Mr Cuddic (Dairy Commissioner) for payment of milk anil cream on a quality basis, and assuring the T)airv Division of the hearty co-op-eration of the I'aetory Managers' Association.
