Messrs Henry Bisclev and Manning Lewis, the New Zealand and Australian Trade Commissioners of Bristol, interviewed, stated that the Australians had been very quick to see that Bristol's proposals were likelv to benefit them commercially. A great recession of trade was already apparent. New Zealand bad similarly grasped the opportunity and there were good prospects of of trade. The Commissioners also hope to develop increased trade, will; San Francisco and Vancouver when the Panama Canal is opened to trade.
