FIRE ON A WHARF.

QUAYS AND BUILDINGS BURNED.

London, June 8. Three hundred and sixty yards of the quays on the south side and sixty yards of wharfage on the east, side of the Kingston Dock, Glasgow, collapsed as the result of a fire which was raging throughout tihe day. It originated accidentally in two hundred barrels of Beal oil, which were precipitated into the dock and destroyed four schooners and a steam yacht, Which was burnt. Three sailors are missing. A number of houses ignited, but were extinguished. The damage is variously estimated at £l5O- - to £250,000. The fire is now under control.
