P. Massey. At this stage the Prime Minister entered the hall, and received an ovation, delegates standing and. cheering the -leader of the Government.

■Mr. Massey, in the course of a compreliensive address, said he was 1 ' delighted to see such a large gathering of supporters from all parts of the Auckland provincial district. The attendance exceeded that ■of any previous conference, and it was pleasing to note that right through the length and breadth of the Dominion the work of the organisation was being ia&en up with enthusiasm.
