VILLA AND CARRANZA MAKE IT
HUERTAN DELEGATES' COMPLAINT

There is official information that Villa and Carranza have settled their differences, and Villa is proceeding against Zeeatecas.. .
The Hucrtan delegation to the Peace Conference has issued a statement charging the United States with insistence on a Constitutionalist as the next Mexican President, instead of a neutral candidate, and say that this is tantamount to aiding and abetting fraud and violence in the presidential elections.
THE MEDIATORS UP AGAINST IT.
HUERTA AND VILLA SHOW THEIR TEMPER. Washington, June 17. The failure of the Peace Conference is freely predicted. Delegates cornered at Buffalo with the Carranzaist representatives, but refuse to divulge the result till the conference had reported. The Huertan gunboat Guerrero defeated the Constitutionalist gunboat Tampico near Mazatalan. The captain and chief engineer of the Tampico committed suicide.
Mexico City, June 17.
It is reported that Villa, exasperated by the appointment of another general to invade Zacatccas, refused to assist the general when he was defeated there. Carranza thereupon suspended Villa from his command. Vera Cruz, June 17.
British refugees arriving from Mexico City report that Sir Lionel Carden advised Huerta to resign and leave Mexico. Huerta was enraged and threatened to arrest Sir Lionel if he repeated the suggestion.
