Tarannki poultry fanciers were well. represented m tliu poultry clause* at thi) ilaimwtir.ii Winter Show, in which there was competition from all parts of the .North Island and the South hland. i t >nii.i: a number of prizes came ; to Tnraiiaki. W. Hall, of Lcpperton,. holds ioi a year tliu Higliden rose bowl,,' valued at 'M guineas, for the beet bird' ; in the Sunny poultry section (including ,'& ducks), whicii ho won with a Silver H Wyandotte pullet. ' 1 In old English game, S. Campbell, of * Stratford, w<mred a first for Partridge Game pullet, and a first and third tor Mack-breasted Ked Uanic cockerel. A. 0. Aubrey (Waitara) obtained a, first with a black cock in the Minorca class.
In Leghorns, A. C. Aubrey secured two firsts and two seconds with brown hem. cockerel and pullet. J. H. Dunn, of New llyniouU, secured a first with a brown " .cockerel, and Stewart and Undgperg' '" (Aormanby) obtained first and special for a white cock (American class). In Hamburg*, VV. Hall, of Upperton. was awarded a first. la Houdaus, Stewart and Landsperg ' obtained a second and a third. In Orpingtons, W. Scott (New mouth) was lirst for black Stewart and Landspcrg third for Wao2 pullet. In Wyandotte*, W. Hall secured first with a silver pullet, any other variety cock, hen, cockerel or pullet, and 9. U, Dunn obtained a second with a Partridge cockerel and pullet. i. la Seabrights, H. Master*, of Stoat)* ford, secured first with fluff'hen f aeoona with Bull pullet, and third with Buff cockerel.
In Ducks, Stewart and Landsperg secured two Hrsts. In utility classes, OrpJfStons, W. Scott stored two lirsts aiia«V seeond • and Stewart and LandspeijJßiir first*. The latter also obtained a first and a "- third in .Minorca* and a third in docks. S A. O. Aubrey got a third in Loghornv '
