THEATRE ROYAL PICTURES. A new list of photoplays opened at the Theatre Royal Pictures list night, consisting of some very good pictures. The Kalem Company's star drama "The Country Seat of War" waa an extremely exciting story, and some clever sensationalism was introduced 1 . The story deals with an election in which some foul play is worked iby one of the candidates, who manages to obtain the seat by "squaring" the officials. The beaten man fits out to secure the reof the voting, and a ■tlirilliiic.' story is worked up. The Keystone Company's "Love and Oasoline" created roars "of laughter, and these clever comedians, including Stirling in a new role, were in their element. The mtorcar cliase over the slippery roads was irresistibly funny, and required' sm«,rt manipulation. The remainder of the programme makes up a good collection for an cnjoyslrte .evening. The _ same programme will lie screened to-night.
