McAlister und Harrison were sixth and aeventh in the Caledonian Shield Match, and McOue nintn. McAlistcr looked like winning, but broke down at 600 yards. MeAlistcr and Grosskrente, of Wl9 Prosperpine Rifle Club. were fifth and sixth in the Lord AdTOCftte Competition. Grosskrentz was eighth for the President's Prize. Harrison tied) for the Henry Vase, but lost OB the shoot-off. A TRIANGULAR MATCH.

A triangular matoh will be fired on Saturday between the New Plymouth Defence Rifle Club's Saturday team and teams from the XI. (Regiment and the EHham Territorials.

The XI. Regiment team will be:Lieut. Hartnill, Sergt. Okcy, Corporal Mace, Corpl. Bacon, Riflemen G'oodacro, Higg.s, and Gunson, and Bugler Shirley, Emergency: ]>ifleman Mander. The Rifle Olub will be represented bv: L. Blanchett, D. McWhirtcr, W. Slaughter, G. Blanchard, A. Jones, i-ilson, Jones and G. Bruce. The match will start at 1 run. The ranges will be 300, 500, and 000 yards.
