A meeting of dairy company representatives re the better marketing of produce, resolved that there shoukLbe two boards—one in New Zealand, "tlbe Board of Management," and tne other in London, "the London Board," with the object of controlling and marketing our New Zealand dairy produce; the board ef management to ihave. supreme control, (but to give the London board very large discretionary powers; the board of mangement to have the appointment unci control of the London board, and Che board's services to be available for those who wish to use other markets tihan the United Kingdom; that there be an annual meeting of the companies participating in this scheme, and that *uch meeting elect a board which shall elect the London board; that the basis of allotment of i shares be altered from one ami onehalf shares fo r each ton of eliei'se, and that shares for each ton of butter to one-half of a ,sh:ire for each ton of cheese and one share for each ton of butter; that onlv co-operative wnd proprietary dairy companies and l>acon companies be permitted to become shareholders; that thisi company refrain from trading and other forms of profitsharing stive as provided for by the articles of association. A committee consisting of Messrs Morton, Forsyth, Marx, Povvdicll and C'orrigan, was set up to place the subject before the several companies, and form the company if the former consent.
